Willow Tree Tea - Time for yourself
September 2025
As I sit and gather my thoughts for this month's blog, reflecting on the illustration we just designed, I can’t help but think that we are much like this tree. Rooted in our place, so strong yet appearing vulnerable. So full of grace (not so much of that for me lol) and beauty!! Each month as the light changes outside, I will sit in my favorite spot, pause and take the time to share some reflections with you here.
September marks the transition from summer fun/chaos to Fall- a perfect time to check in on our health routines, it’s time to give ourselves the attention that we so easily give to others.
Whole-body wellness means more than just eating well and exercising. It includes rest and stress management, mental health care, and staying up to date with preventative screenings. Many (most) of us put ourselves on the back burner because of busy schedules, family demands and ensuring that everyone else is UTD on all of their preventative care. We need to remind ourselves that our health is the foundation for everything that we love. We are a priority as well.
Take a moment to check in with YOURSELF this month:
Are you getting enough restful sleep?
What is your outlet for stress?
When was your last screening/preventative exam?
Have you made time for JOY?
Preventative care is not a LUXURY, it’s a necessity. It only takes small steps to keep ourselves healthy. Take September as a chance to refresh your priorities and set up any appointments you,ve been meaning to make.
As always, Here for your healthcare journey,
GIMI
Did you know?
FACT: Women with dense breast tissue are up to 6x more likely to develop breast cancer- AND dense tissue makes that cancer harder to detect with mammography.
ABUS (Automated Breast Ultrasound) provides a clearer more thorough look,
all while offering peace of mind when mammography alone may not be enough.
