A note from my table for October
The mornings are cooler now, and I find myself reaching for a sweater and a cup of tea before the day really begins. From my table, I can see the light changing — softer, golden, and a little more thoughtful.
October always feels like a pause — that quiet space between summer’s rush and the holidays ahead. It’s when I like to take stock of the year so far and gently ask myself: Have I been caring for me, too?
We spend so much of our time taking care of everyone else. Kids, work, family, community — all the things that make life beautiful and busy. But this month, I want you to find a little corner of peace that’s just for you.
Light a candle. Step outside for a breath of that first cool air. And if your health has been waiting patiently on the back burner — maybe it’s time to move it forward.
From My Heart to Yours
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month — and though the pink ribbons are everywhere, real awareness starts quietly, right at our own tables.
Schedule your screenings. Talk to your friends. Encourage your daughters and mothers.
It’s not just about finding problems — it’s about staying connected to your health and your peace of mind.
ABUS Fact of the Month
Women with dense breast tissue often need more than mammography alone. Automated Breast Ultrasound (ABUS) uses sound waves — not radiation — to capture a clearer, more complete image of your breast tissue.
It’s safe, comfortable, and takes about the same time as your morning cup of tea.
