Willow Tree Tea — February

The Busiest Little Month

February is a full month around here.

It arrives already moving—crowded with color, sound, and plans. There’s the Super Bowl, where living rooms fill and rivalries become friendly rituals. Then Mardi Gras rolls in with beads and parades, music and balls, and a calendar that suddenly feels packed before we even catch our breath.

It’s joyful. It’s festive.
And it’s a lot.

Somewhere in the middle sits Valentine’s Day—the often-dreaded one. For some, it’s sweet. For others, it’s complicated. Expectations, memories, comparisons, and quiet disappointments can surface just as easily as roses and chocolates. Even love can feel tiring when we’re already running low.

And all the while, we’re tired of winter.

Not the harsh kind—but the lingering cold mornings, the jackets that should be retired by now, the waiting. We’re ready for spring. Ready for light that lasts longer, for warmth that feels effortless, for signs that something new is just around the corner.

February holds all of that at once.

Celebration and fatigue.
Connection and overwhelm.
Hope—and a little impatience.

At the Willow Tree, February feels like standing in the middle of a busy intersection, reminding ourselves that it’s okay to step to the side for a moment. To notice how full our plates have become. To rest where we can. To choose what truly needs our energy—and what can wait.

This month doesn’t ask us to slow the world down.
It asks us to take care of ourselves within it.

So if February feels loud, crowded, or emotionally heavy, you’re not imagining it. And if you’re longing for spring while still trying to show up fully where you are—there’s nothing wrong with that either.

The Willow Tree bends through busy seasons. Its roots stay steady even when the branches are pulled in many directions.

So do you.

Pour the tea. Take the pause. Spring is coming—quietly, surely, right on time.

As always,

Did You Know?

When life gets busy—parades, parties, plans, and everything in between—it’s easy to put routine health decisions on the back burner.

Did you know that breast density can’t be felt?
It’s something seen only on imaging, and it’s incredibly common—especially in younger women and many women under 50.

Dense breast tissue can make it harder for standard mammograms to clearly show small cancers, which is why some women benefit from additional screening. Understanding your breast density and knowing your screening options can bring clarity—and peace of mind—especially during already full seasons of life.

February reminds us that even when our calendars are crowded, caring for ourselves doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. Sometimes, reassurance starts with simply knowing what questions to ask.
